the staff was very responsive and helpful. they addressed all our needs quickly. the location was convenient with easy access to local shops and restaurants. (we liked the little cafe nearby).
the bathroom was small for a supposed 5-star experience. also, the hand towels were not always replaced after cleaning (i had to call to ask for them).

i found the welcome note and chocolates in my room quite thoughtful i also appreciated the turndown service with body lotion the hotel booked a water taxi to the airport for me i experienced a friendly porter service that handled my luggage to the taxi stand with care.
the breakfast felt very basic for a hotel of this caliber it was not as upscale as the rest of my vacays.

the location is quite convenient allowing easy access to different points of interest i secured a two day pass for public transport by boat i explored all significant sites including the outlying islands i found it helpful.

the hotel staff were very helpful before my arrival. they asked my preferences and arranged a water taxi. my suite was very beautiful and comfortable. the in room coffee tasted amazing. bottles of drinking water were supplied along with other beverages.
the hotel breakfast is very basic for a five star hotel considering the price. i paid a lot for one night. i will not rate more than two stars.

the location worked alright for me. it was a short walk from the train station, a plus when you have luggage.
the bathroom felt cramped, a big letdown. the furniture placement seemed off too. it did not make good use of the canal side windows. i expected more space and thoughtful design.

I was disappointed with the room I was given. The room's furniture did not maximize the floor layout , and it did not take advantage of the canal side windows. The cleaning services sometimes failed to replace all hand towels after cleaning.

the hotel staff shined. they upgraded my room to a beautiful suite without me even asking, can you believe it! the location was pretty good, just a short walk from the train station. the food was awesome!
the bathroom felt a bit small for a fancy hotel. the furniture arrangement could have been better to use the space well, i thought. also, the cleaning people didn't always replace all the towels, a bummer.
